For Families

Our photographers take many different types of shots as well as the group shots they also try to capture your family at play and interacting with each other.

Below are some tips for making the most of your Family Portrait session.

WHAT TO WEAR?

  • Your most comfortable clothing.
  • Plain colours without lots of branding or patterns.

WHAT TO BRING?

  • Feel free to bring along some of your children’s favorite things. For example: if you daughter is a part time ballerina or fairy her costume would look cute!, If your son enjoys baseball, bring along his uniform and/or his mitt.
  • For outdoor sessions, you can also come along with the kid’s bikes, umbrellas & gum boots and your well trained dog.

Nb: Our photographer will try their best but are not always able to use your props so please don’t be disappointed should this not occur. Please remember we are an “express” service.

HOW LONG ARE PHOTOGRAPHY APPOINTMENTS?

  • Indoor Studio appointments are 10 – 15 minutes per family.
  • Outdoor appointments are 20 minutes per family.

Nb: Families who are late to their appointment will need to be rescheduled by the photographer, if possible – otherwise you forfeit your appointment.

I HAVE AN OUTDOOR APPOINTMENT, WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

  • If the weather is a “wash out” on your photography day we are unable to reschedule a new date for your lifestyle appointment.
  • Our photographer will only call you if your appointment is not going ahead due to rain.
  • Where possible they will offer you a studio appointment should you wish to swap to an inside studio appointment session. This is usually possible but not guaranteed.
  • If you are unable to reschedule to a studio appointment time you will need to approach your organization for a refund.

OUR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Our photographer will be your creative director. They are trained to find the most pleasing locations working with the natural light available.
